Work For Companies Around The World
The AIC partners with top-ranked universities and colleges in North America and internationally to provide short-term, typically unpaid international internship opportunities for their students in ten cities: Boston, New York City, San Francisco and the Bay Area, Toronto, Singapore, Mumbai, Hong Kong, Berlin, Cape Town, and Santiago.
From Boston University to UC Berkeley to the National University of Singapore, motivated students participating through our programs are ready, willing, and able to perform productive, project-based work for organizations in a variety of fields.
Placements are designed to integrate work experiences with academic courses and cultural and professional development opportunities. A key factor in the success of our programs is the quality and commitment of our internship partners—ranging from large, multinational corporations to small, entrepreneurial start-up organizations.
While providing exposure to the professional world, participating internship partners enjoy the benefit of hosting bright, motivated students. The AIC takes great care in matching students and employers with the goal of creating mutually beneficial project experiences.

Our student interns are:
Accomplished intelligent students from leading academic institutions in the U.S. and around the world (for international students visas are coordinated by the AIC). Most students earn academic credit through their institutions.
Motivated to contribute to your organization as they expand their own knowledge. Their pursuit of an internship through the AIC is evidence of their personal initiative.
Flexible and creative. We emphasize the need for adaptability and the reality of some routine work as a normal part of any internship.
The AIC can consult with you to help you identify and scope a dedicated internship project that will add value to your organization. For larger projects, the AIC is often able to assemble internship project teams from different academic disciplines in order to help you deploy a broader range of talent to address your organizational needs.
The AIC also provides comprehensive program management through our local teams in each city including student counseling and 24-hour emergency support. A local AIC Placement Supervisor acts as a dedicated contact between the AIC and the employer during the entire placement period, which allows for continuity for communication and feedback about the internship experience.
